About me...

In addition to being a wife and mother, I am also a glass lampwork bead artisan. I make my jewelry using my own beads. All the work you see on this website has been hand-crafted by me.

My studio is in my home in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Music is a HUGE part in my creations. The type of music I listen to will determine the direction of design I come up with. I love music as much as I love making beads and when I am at the torch, it is like the torch, glass, music, and myself are one huge symphony. My mood depends on the music I will listen to.

I discovered a passion for beadworking in 2003 after a family tragedy - the death our nephew, Kortney, who was killed by an impaired driver. With the help of my dear friend, Dee Hanson, who started me with a few basics and encouraged me in my progress, I have found such a passion. Lampworking is what I call "My PEACE work." It gives me a LOT of inner peace, relaxes me, and gives me such a great sense of accomplishment. I really enjoy the creative process that goes into creating my lampwork beads and I hope you will enjoy wearing my creations as much as I enjoy designing them.
